101.1 and Rising

Here I am, at the computer at 5am trying to tire myself out.. unfortunately it doesnt seem to be working. It's no wonder, I have slept for the majority of the last two days, and when your all sweaty and uncomfortable sleep isn't the easiest thing to achieve.

It looks the sun is about to rise and perhaps I should let this be an opportunity to see a beautiful sunrise, and even take a few shots with the Canon Rebel :D On another positive note, my tendonitis has been bothering me, and these two days on the couch has really allowed my arms to heal.

Ahh.. yes, it feels as though the acetaminophen is doing its job, time to go back to resting.

Spring Spinach

Well, it appears spring has sprung around these parts. With each passing day I notice more and more small little sprouts poking out of the ground. Spring is here quite early this year, normally we would still have a foot of snow on the ground.

Great news for the blog! Melissa purchased a super nice Canon Digital Rebel 300d Camera with her tax return. So, now instead of relying on friends to give me their pictures I will have hunderds of my own to sift through and post.

Here are a couple of shots I've taken:

Northern Landscapes

The following are some pictures my friend Chester Bush took at Raven Lake(just over an hour east of Prince George) during spring break. Chester, Brian, and Jerrid hiked 8 hours in snowshoes to reach the peak. I would have gone also, but their spring break fell a week after mine due to us being at different college/universities.
